“Considering the second choice proposed in the meeting, the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) and the Haryana government have agreed to perform a 1:30-hour objective form examination,” according to the official release. It was also determined that the testing centre would be the students' own classroom. The datesheet will be sent to all students 15 days in advance.”
Two options for conducting class 12 exams were proposed to states at a high-level meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday. The most possible choice being discussed is a 1.5-hour study in only main subjects, which will be held in the same schools where students are enrolled rather than at external examination centres. To address the upcoming Class XII board exams, a meeting was held with all state/UT education ministers, secretaries, and chairpersons of state examination boards.
The Haryana board has chosen the second choice and will administer an objective form exam to class 12 students in the state. From June 15, the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) will administer the Class 12th exams. According to sources, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal said on Sunday that the board is prepared to conduct Class 12th exams between June 15 and June 20. The Haryana Education Minister suggested that, unlike previous years, students would be able to take board exams from their respective schools this year, suggesting a shift in exam centre allocation.

The Minister added that the HBSE Class 12th exam dates would be declared at least 20 days prior to the start of the exam. Students who are unable to take the exams during the first process will be permitted to take the 12th Board HBSE exams at a later date.
The Ministry of Education recommended that the Class 12th board exams be conducted at a high-level meeting on Sunday, May 23, and it proposed two alternatives for conducting the exams. The first choice was to make students write exams in just 19 main subjects, while the second option was to keep exams in schools but change the test pattern to one that only included objective questions.
