About Laxmanrao Inamdar National Cooperative Research and Development Academy (Linac)
- NCDC's own training institution, the Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research and Development (LINAC), was founded in 1985.
- Since its inception, LINAC has taught over 30,000 individuals from cooperative groups. Its principal goal is to promote cooperative sector entrepreneurship and business development.
- To build institutional capacities and human resources in cooperatives, the Academy strives to build its programmes and interventions with a strong client-oriented and inter-disciplinary approach.
- The 45 specific training modules will prepare cooperative societies to conduct their businesses in the market economy in the most professional manner possible.

Over 8.5 lakh cooperative societies with 290 million members make up India's vast cooperative network. In a variety of ways, the cooperative sector has been effective in assisting farmers. This is also true because over 94 percent of Indian farmers are members of one or more cooperative societies.
